Alien Shooter Vengeance is the sequel of the successful Alien Shooter, developed by the Sigma Team. It is a sort of mix between an RPG and an 3rd person shooter. It is similar to Fallout but in real-time and with less role-play and more bang-bang. The story is not very good, but it at least gives you a reason to shoot everything that moves and is ugly. When you start the campaign mode, you get to edit your character in looks as well as in attributes and skills. You are trapped in a facility infested with aliens that don't mean anything good. You use the keyboard to control your character and the mouse to aim. And you are going to need a good mouse button because it is going to be fast and they are going to come from anywhere. Objectives in the mission are fairly simple, but the alien bashing is the fun bit. There is also a survival and a stand firm mode where you are swarmed with millions of aliens. The game is a good shooter, but nothing special. It does have a good atmosphere and it has a lot of nice features. It will appeal many gamers, and you can try out the demo to see if you like it. |
